The truth is we all ache. We all have growing pains and wonder if we are okay and enough and loved. The thing is we are. Really. we are enough without all the things we buy to make us much more than we are or need to be we are simple and complex and rare as is. sabrina ward harrison

kristin watched sage last night while i worked + when i came to pick her up i found a little max! kristin MADE that ADORABLE hat for sage last night!! sage was so stinkin' excited and so was i. we bought the book Where The Wild Things Are a few weeks ago + it quickly became one of her favorite books. We have been waiting for today to come so we could go and see the movie! I let Sage skip school + we went and saw it. AND WE BOTH LOVED IT. love love love. I want the soundtrack.

3 miles.
i hadn't run in a month.

and it felt so good.
then i had a hot bath + read a few chapters in my current book.
ok! it's time for a giveaway! shelane was kind enough to send me a couple necklaces in exchange for a few images from me! and i want to give this one away to one of YOU! so here's the deal...
leave a comment on this post by sunday, october 4th at midnight EST.
i'm thinking Christmas gifts already and i want you to leave me a link to something you're planning on buying for a special someone in your life OR something you're dying to get yourself for Christmas!
one comment per person please!! BUT...if you post a link to my blog on your blog or facebook page you can leave a second comment for an additional chance to win!
AND...if there are at least 50 comments i'll also give the winner an 8x10 print of the lady bug picture on the pendant!
now head over to shelane's shop and check out all of her great necklaces!
i'm still sick over here. drinking lots of fresh peppermint tea + trying to rest!
p.s. these are the other pendants with images from me on them.
i realize i haven't been sharing my scrapbooking stuff lately! i do still scrapbook! and i also still do art journal cards! i'll try and get those posted soon too! here are the 2 pages i did last night when kristin was here!(thankfully we scrapbook together a couple times a month at least!)
and i got my necklace in the mail yesterday from shelane! i looove it!! the one for the giveaway (that i'll post tomorrow!) is adorable too!!
and this was the sunrise i saw this morning. i love fall.
we went up north for the weekend + had a great time. we spent time with jim's brother john and his family. i made the invites for my niece sarah mae's baby shower! and sage was given that adorable bunny. and she is totally in love with her. that evening we went up to the farm + enjoyed a camp fire with family + slept in the bunkhouse. the kids looooove staying up there. the next morning we went to breakfast at daniel's (one of the only places to eat in hesperia!) then we headed back to the farm where sage got to fish her little heart out! i think she caught (and released) 10 fish. jim and emerson each caught one i believe! i had bad allergies all weekend...but by the time we got home i was really feeling like crap! all day yesterday i spent in bed. i don't recall the last time i felt so sick!! thankfully today i'm on the upswing and i'm hoping tomorrow i'll feel even better! i already have the chicken cooked and shredded for chicken chili tomorrow...yum.
a couple of weeks ago i stumbled upon shelane's blog... i found her through cally's blog (remember the shirt i re-did? it was her tutorial) ok. so shelane had posted on her blog that she was looking for images to use on her pendants! i got all excited and emailed her a few things...a couple of pictures i had taken...and i also messed around in photoshop for a bit to make a couple others!
yesterday i went to her etsy shop to see how they turned out and i looooove them. and her prices are SOOOOOOO reasonable!!! seriously $4.50 for a pendant!
i will be doing a GIVEAWAY on my blog next week for one of these beauties!! but i just couldn't wait until then to share.
here is a link to Shelayne's Shop!you can also click on each of the images above to go to the necklaces with my images on them! i can't wait to get mine in the mail!
